A buyer checklist for bulk GPU orders

Updated 16 October 2026

By the Lineage Tech sourcing desk

Short answer. For a bulk GPU order, fix the exact part number and edition, confirm the servers can power and cool the cards, agree the Incoterm and delivery schedule, record the warranty route, and prepare company, end-use and destination information before you request a firm price.

Before you ask for a price

  • Exact part number and edition for every line, plus whether alternatives are acceptable.
  • Total quantity, and whether partial deliveries are acceptable.
  • Server model and slot layout: power connectors, power budget per slot and airflow.
  • Delivery country, site and the required date.
  • Company registration, tax number and the end user and end use.

In the offer

  • Unit price per quantity tier, currency and what is excluded (VAT, duties, freight).
  • Incoterm (Incoterms 2020) and the named place.
  • Lead time and validity of the offer.
  • Warranty: who backs it, for how long, and where claims go.
  • Payment terms and what triggers each payment.

On delivery

  • Count cartons against the packing list before signing.
  • Photograph seals and labels before opening.
  • Record serial numbers against the invoice for warranty.

Specifications change; check the linked manufacturer documents before ordering. Questions? Talk to the sales desk.
