Overview
The GB300 Desktop Superchip joins a Blackwell Ultra GPU with 252 GB of HBM3e to a 72-core Grace CPU with 496 GB of LPDDR5X over NVLink-C2C at 900 GB/s. NVIDIA rates it at 20 PFLOPS FP4 with sparsity (15 PFLOPS dense), enough for local work on models of up to about a trillion parameters.
Networking is a built-in ConnectX-8 SuperNIC with two QSFP112 ports at up to 800 Gb/s combined. The system ships with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and NVIDIA AI developer tools. The GB300 has no display outputs of its own; add an RTX PRO GPU in a PCIe slot if you need a local display.
Typical uses
- Local model development
- Fine-tuning
- Team inference server
