The Juniper EX4300-24P (part number EX4300-24P) is a 1RU access switch with 24 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports, four built-in 40GbE QSFP+ ports and a slot for an optional 4x 10GbE SFP+ uplink module. It ships with a 715 W AC power supply giving a 565 W PoE+ budget and suits campus wiring closets and data centre access racks that already run EX4300 Virtual Chassis.

The EX4300-24P runs Junos OS and forwards at wire speed across all ports, with a 448 Gbps data rate and 333 Mpps throughput. Every access port supplies PoE+ for phones, cameras and wireless access points. Power supplies and fans are field replaceable, and a second hot-swappable supply can be added for redundancy.
Up to 10 EX4300 switches can join a Virtual Chassis over the QSFP+ ports and be managed as one device with one configuration, with graceful Routing Engine switchover between members. The switch can also be onboarded and managed in Juniper Mist Wired Assurance. Juniper announced end of life for the EX4300 24-port and 48-port copper models on 24 June 2022. Its support site lists 31 March 2024 as the last order date and 31 March 2029 as the end of support date.
Licensing: the Standard tier of Junos ships with the switch. Juniper Flex Advanced and Premium licences (Class 2 for 24-port models, Class 3 for 48-port models, as subscriptions or perpetual) unlock additional features, and the older EX4300 Enhanced and Advanced Feature Licences (EFL and AFL) also apply to this model. MACsec encryption needs its own licence.

EX4300-24T is the same switch without PoE+ and ships with a 350 W supply. The 48-port EX4300-48P adds 24 more PoE+ ports.
