The C9500-24Y4C is one of the high-performance Catalyst 9500 models. It has 24 SFP28 ports at 1, 10 or 25G and four QSFP ports at 40 or 100G, all fixed, so there is no network module to choose. It runs Cisco IOS XE on the UADP 3.0 ASIC with up to 2.0 Tbps switching, 1 Bpps forwarding, 16 GB of DRAM and support for pluggable SSD storage.
It suits campus cores and distribution layers moving from 10G to 25G downlinks with 100G uplinks, and compact data centre aggregation. Two switches can run as one with StackWise Virtual, with Multichassis EtherChannel, SSO and ISSU. It supports dual redundant power supplies and a field-replaceable fan tray with front-to-back airflow. The RFID tag is an order-time option and cannot be added later.
This listing pairs the switch with C9500-DNA-L-A-3Y, the Catalyst 9500 Network and Cisco DNA Advantage low port density license for 12Q, 16X and 24Y4C models, on a 3-year term. The Network Advantage license on the switch is perpetual; the DNA Advantage term is activated in the buyer's Cisco Smart Account. Network Advantage adds advanced routing, segmentation, multicast and scale over Network Essentials, which is sold as C9500-24Y4C-E.

C9500-24Y4C-A is Network Advantage; C9500-24Y4C-E is Network Essentials. The C9500-48Y4C doubles the 25G ports to 48 with up to 3.2 Tbps, and the C9500-16X is the 10G UADP 2.0 model.
