The Cisco Catalyst 9300 C9300-24P-E is a 1RU stackable enterprise access switch with 24 PoE+ Gigabit ports. It has no fixed uplinks: uplinks come from an optional network module (1G, Multigigabit, 10G, 25G or 40G) that is ordered separately. The default 715 W power supply gives 445 W of PoE+. The Catalyst 9300 is Cisco's flagship stackable access switch. It runs Cisco IOS XE on the UADP 2.0 ASIC with an x86 CPU, 8 GB of DRAM and 16 GB of flash for application hosting, and supports MACsec, SD-Access and model-driven telemetry. The modular uplink slot is empty by default and accepts C9300-NM-4G, C9300-NM-4M, C9300-NM-8X, C9300-NM-2Q or C9300-NM-2Y, so uplink speed can be chosen at purchase and changed later.
It fits campus wiring closets and enterprise floors that need PoE+ for access points, phones and cameras with strong resiliency: dual power supplies, N+1 fans, StackWise-480 stacking of up to eight switches and StackPower to share power across the stack. It stacks with other C9300 models at the same license level, not with C9300L fixed-uplink models.
This listing pairs the switch with C9300-DNA-E-24-3Y, a 3-year Cisco DNA Essentials subscription. The Network Essentials license on the switch is perpetual; the DNA Essentials term is activated in the buyer's Cisco Smart Account, where it is managed alongside the hardware. Network Essentials covers foundational Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, automation, visibility and security. Network Advantage, sold under the -A part numbers, adds advanced routing, segmentation, multicast, scale and security features.

This is the Network Essentials version; C9300-24P-A is Network Advantage. Of the siblings, the C9300-24T is data only with a 350 W PSU. C9300L models have fixed 4x 1G or 4x 10G uplinks, StackWise-320 and no StackPower.
