The Catalyst 9200L is the fixed-uplink version of the Catalyst 9200. It runs Cisco IOS XE on the UADP 2.0 Mini ASIC with Layer 3 routed access, AES-128 MACsec and Plug and Play, and it keeps the dual field-replaceable power supply bays of the wider 9200 family while using fixed fans. Uplinks are built in, here 4x 1G, so there is no network module to buy.
It suits cost-sensitive branch and wiring-closet deployments that need PoE+ for access points, phones and cameras. Up to eight C9200L switches can stack over StackWise-80 with the optional C9200L-STACK-KIT. C9200L models cannot stack with modular C9200 models, and stack members must share the same license level. C9200L models are ENERGY STAR certified.
This listing pairs the switch with C9200L-DNA-E-48-3Y, a 3-year Cisco DNA Essentials subscription. The Network Essentials license on the switch is perpetual; the DNA Essentials term is activated in the buyer's Cisco Smart Account, where it is managed alongside the hardware. Network Essentials covers foundational Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, automation, visibility and security. Network Advantage, sold under the -A part numbers, adds advanced routing, segmentation, multicast, scale and security features. When the term ends it can be renewed, or deactivated so the switch keeps running on its perpetual license.

The -48P has full PoE+ on 48 ports with a 1000 W PSU (740 W PoE); the -48PL is partial PoE+ with a 600 W PSU (370 W). 4G means 4x 1G uplinks; the -48P-4X has 4x 10G uplinks.
